On October 22, 2015, Kobe University, with the cooperation of the Jagiellonian University, established a liaison office in Poland within the Centre for Comparative Studies of Civilisations at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. It is the fourth international base for Kobe University, following the Kobe University Beijing Office established in Beijing, China, in 2008; the Kobe University Brussels European Centre (KUBEC) established in Brussels, Belgium, in 2010; and the Kobe University Hanoi Liaison Base, Vietnam, in April 2015.

Main Activities

1) Offer research and study exchange opportunities to universities in Central and Eastern Europe

2) Disseminate Kobe University's information on all aspects of higher education and research
