Donor Benefits
In order to express our appreciation for everyone who has donated, we publish their names on our website.
(We will not list those who do not wish to have their names published.)
The names of those who donate more than a certain amount* to the Kobe University Fund will be engraved on the "Plaque for Donors to the Kobe University Fund" in the Sazo Idemitsu Memorial Rokkodai Auditorium to honor them for many years to come.
(*) Individuals: 100,000 yen or more (cumulative total); Corporations and organizations: 1 million yen or more (cumulative total) Donations to certain projects are not eligible.
Those who donate more than a certain amount* to the Kobe University Fund will have their names engraved on a plaque on a chair in the Sazo Idemitsu Memorial Rokkodai Auditorium to honor them for many years to come (please note that there is a limited number of seats).
(*) Individuals: 1 million yen or more (cumulative total) Donations to certain projects are not eligible.
Individuals who donate more than a certain amount* to the Kobe University Fund will be awarded the title of "Kobe University Fund Fellow," and will be invited to the "Roundtable Meeting with the President," which only Fellows can attend.
(*)200,000 yen or more per annum(January to December) (100,000 yen or more per annum for those with a cumulative total of 1 million yen and over)
The individual will hold the title for a period of one year following the year in which the donation amount is received.
Those who donate more than a certain amount* to the Kobe University Fund will be presented with a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative gift.
(*) Individuals: 1,000,000 yen or more (cumulative total); Corporations and organizations: 5,000,000 yen or more (cumulative total)
The ‘Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon’ is awarded to those who donate private funds (5 million yen or more for individuals, 10 million yen or more for organizations) for the public good. After confirming the donor’s intentions, Kobe University will submit an application for this award to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
