Kobe University will hold an international symposium titled “Beyond AEC: Implications for ASEAN+6” at Foreign Trade University in Hanoi, Vietnam to celebrate the newly-established a Liaison Base on April 13, 2015.

Professor Seiichi Fujita (Executive Vice President in Charge of Education, Kobe University) will open the Symposium as the keynote speaker, and three researchers from both sides respectively will present on economic impact which can be caused by the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) scheduled to go into full effect in December 2015. It will be the diverse mix of perspectives such as technological innovation and advanced technology adoption, next phase of entrepreneurial spirit, and regional trade liberalization.

During the Symposium, simultaneously Foreign Trade University and Kobe University will discuss how to develop a sustainable cycle of educational and research interaction between the universities in order to reach a framework agreement.
