We are pleased to inform you of the symposium "Innovation, Environment and Globalisation - Latest EU-Japan Research Collaboration" to be held on 14 October 2014 at Thon Hotel Bristol Stephanie.　This is the 5th symposium held in Brussels　organised by Kobe University. This time, we are co-organising the event with JEUPISTE which is a Japan-EU Bilateral project under the scheme of FP7 aimed at further promoting EU-Japan cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation.

During this symposium, the latest collaboration between Japan and EU in science and technology and cultural industry will be introduced by prominent researchers from Japanese and EU institutions, including a Nobel Laureate.
