Workshop on LHC Physics

Date:
6-8 September 2012
Venue:
Kobe University Brussels European Centre (6, 7 Sept)
Vrije Universiteit Brussel (8 Sept)

In order to foster future international collaboration, the workshop will bring together a small number of young active physicists in the field of high energy physics. Experimental and phenomenological researchers will have a network opportunity through three days of talks and stimulated discussion with each other on physics at the Large Hadron Collider.

With the recent discovery of a Higgs-like particle at the LHC, the workshop will focus on the latest results from LHC covering physics processes of the Standard Model as well as Higgs and Exotics searches. Status of the cutting-edge event generators for physics processes relevant at LHC will be also presented, that will be a key for exploiting the wealth of physics related to the recent discovery in the future.
