We are pleased to announce the Symposium ‘Blue Economy, Green Horizons: EU-Japan Research for Healthy, Sustainable Seas and Oceans‘ will take place on 18 October 2022 at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). This is the 12th Kobe University Brussels European Centre Symposium which is jointly organised with VUB, with the support of the University of Kent.

During the event, speakers from government, academia, research institutions, industry and the media will present some of the cooperation projects and the latest developments in Ocean research in Europe and Japan, in the interconnected fields of economics, technology and social sciences.
