Welcome to our site

The Kobe University International Alumni Net was established in 2001 to strengthen ties between Kobe University and alumni living abroad.

As of October 2010, there are 8 (Korea, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore) international alumni associations. With the establishment of the Kobe University Brussels European Centre, there is also a plan to expand the network further by launching an alumni association in Europe next year.

To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the International Alumni Net, Kobe University will be holding a Global-Link Forum in Bangkok from Jan. 22-24, 2011. President FUKUDA Hideki of Kobe University will be coming to Bangkok especially to form stronger bonds with the international alumni network, which is one of Kobe University’s intelligent information resources, and to heighten the presence of the "Kobe University Brand".

The forum will be supported by the “Kobe University Alumni Association in Thailand”. At the forum, we plan to introduce the development and results of our academic research on a wide scale, as well as promote researcher and student exchanges.
