"UNESCO Chair International Seminar: Vulnerability and Disaster Resilience"　was held

The UNESCO Chair International Seminar titled, "Vulnerability and Disaster Resilience" was held at Mae Fah Luang University, Chiangrai, Thailand from May 1st to 4th, 2019. First, Prof. Ronni Alexander, Kobe University lectured about the background of UNESCO Chair "Gender and Vulnerability in Disaster Risk Reduction Support" project. And from the host institution of this UNESCO Chair International Seminar, the Opening speech was made by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siriporn Wajjwalku, Network for International Development Cooperation, Thammasat University. These were followed by presentations on research plans for UNESCO Chair project by representatives from each partner institutions. In the last session, research proposals were developed and source of funding for those were discussed respectively. The UNESCO Chair International Seminar was ended with success.
